Location is fantastic with sea views and friendly staff, but the room was quite dated and had a smell. A wedding on arrival made it feel crowded and noisy, so a heads up would have helped. the hotel is trying hard to improve, but there are still areas needing attention.

Great dining but room needs updating

I recently stayed for 3 nights with my son and although the dining experience was exceptional, the room left much to be desired. While the breakfast was fantastic, the decor in our room felt outdated and rather gloomy, which overshadowed our overall experience. The staff were friendly and responsive, but if the rooms were updated, it would greatly enhance the stay.

i had a lovely stay here. the location was spot on, just a short walk to the beach and shops. the staff made me feel at home and breakfast was a treat with fresh pastries and local jams.

wifi was a bit slow

Nice place with free wi-fi, a car park, and a lovely restaurant. I remember how the staff helped me find my forgotten earphones on my first stay. I highly recommend staying here for a great experience!

Waking up to a delicious breakfast was a delight, especially with the attentive staff making everything feel so welcoming. The room was cozy and well-equipped.

The shower pressure was disappointingly low, making morning routines less refreshing than expected. A minor letdown in an otherwise charming stay.

Had a great time with friends. We explored Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo and the Dinosaur Park — both just a short drive away. The location is fantastic, staff were super friendly, and the meals were solid. Worth it for a fun group getaway!

Some things need updating in the rooms, like the cracked bath panel and the small TV placement, which was a bit annoying.

The Gower provided a well-equipped room that met all my needs for a business stay, including reliable Wi-Fi and ample workspace. The staff were particularly accommodating, assisting with my meeting needs and ensuring a smooth check-in process. I thoroughly enjoyed the meals in the restaurant, especially the well-prepared local dishes that showcased the region's offerings.

my stay was made easy by being just a few steps from the beach and an array of delightful eateries like the Argosy Fish & Chip Shop, which was perfect for a quick meal after a day of exploring, and I truly appreciated the comfortable ambiance that made my experience enjoyable as a solo traveler.

I had a fantastic stay with a comfy bed that made me sleep like a baby, and their breakfast options were just delicious with fresh local produce. The lift access was a lifesaver too!

The Gower's stylish conservatory restaurant felt so inviting, with its airy atmosphere and gorgeous views, making it a perfect spot for a meal. The lift was very handy for senior access too!
